About Me

This site is actually dedicated to a passion that I have had I think since birth. Animals! Not only do I seem to communicate better with animals then people but I respect them for their true nature. Seems somewhere in life people have forgotten what the true meaning of love is. Animals never have. They have unconditional love. I grew up in a world of love. Given freely from the grandparents that raised me from birth.

I am a very grateful recovering alcoholic. I truly was granted a reprieve from the very pits of hell, alcoholism. I have truly been blessed by not only sobering up once but twice from something so crippling as the bottle. I guess the reason I am adding this to the about me is this is where my great passion to raise dogs and rescue the exotics of the world has come from. After my last marriage to a abuser I have pretty much dedicated my life to the innocence of the world- God's chosen animals. Let me tell you about Dakota's Dream now.

I learned to breed English bulldogs from a 72 year old woman whom I admire very much. Barbara Edwards. She was a great lady. I never knew her husband Bud but I really respected him from the way she always talked about him. I studied 2 years under her to learn to breed English bulldogs. I breed only for pets. I breed for health. Bulldogs over the years have developed some severe health issues. I personally research the lines I buy before mixing with the line I have. I guarantee my dogs. I really want to see people get a decent healthy puppy for an affordable price.

I never finished my masters in zoology but have decided to continue my work with rescues. There are a few rescues here as well as a few children that I have bought.
There are a few people who have donated their time to help me with these animals and it is truly appreciated. Also all the donations I have received from food to fencing are also appreciated. If anyone has any questions please contact me. I will be glad to try and answer them.
