This site is actually undergoing some changes at this moment. I actually will be taking over the site and now will be running this rescue. Bare with me while these changes are happening. My very dear friend Melanie has semi retired, While she is still helping behind the scenes her health has been a huge factor in me taking over. We still will be taking in the same dogs but will be based in the outskirts of Detroit instead of Canton Ohio.

I actually became involved in this rescue 2 years ago.  I started out helping to take in and foster some dogs that were in need of help when they were brought in. I had just graduated from a school  up here in Detroit I had went to for 2 years to become a Medical assistant . I have 1 daughter that is a grown woman now and I have 2 grandchildren. I am also married to a man who is retired from Chrysler.  I guess this was the first part of my life, now I will tell you about Jazzytyme's Dakota's Dream Rescue now.

 This part  actually came about when I thought about going into breeding dogs. I had know Melanie for a long time. She had breed english bullldogs and teacup chihuahuas and pugs when I had meet her years ago. She got me involved with taking in rescues and said she didn't breed anymore. I know that some of the rescues I myself took made me decided to not breed and to actually rescue with her.
