I am a very grateful recovering alcoholic. I think that is where everyday of mine starts here is remembering where it is I come from. The Lord seems to always remind me of where I do come from and what it is everyday that I must do.  This rescue to dedicated to the other people out there that are like me in recovery and to our Lord Jesus Christ. I have a BA from OSU in zoology. I think when I started into breeding years ago the main reason I got my degree was to help to save all the exotics of the world. To save what man was so trying to destroy with growth and with the world becoming so over populated. Now I can honestly tell you that I apply the knowledge of that degree towards rescue. We have been very blessed here to have so many people that have joined us here to help with that mission,

Now a little about me. I am a Native American. I learned to breed English bulldogs from one wonderful woman whom is now passed away but will never be forgotten by me Barbara Edwards. Her and her husband Bud had breed bullies for 30 years when she took me under her wing and taught me to breed. She was a wonderful woman who loved Bullies with all her heart. I can honestly tell you that I still think about her every time I go to pick a bullie up. I studied 2 years under her to learn about this wonderful breed. I never knew Bud but the way she always talked about him I felt like I did.

I have been so blessed to have been given a reprieve from the very pits of hell which is alcoholism not just once but 2 times.  That was where the dream of saving became a reality for me rather than breeding. I named this rescue from a English bulldog who was the first of my dream of English bulldogs, Dakota. It is only fitting that this rescue be named after him. He is gone now but the thought of him with always be in my heart.
